Abstract

Our vasculature is important in tissue homeostasis and the pathogenesis of many diseases. Abnormal cell signalling occurs in most known vascular diseases. We have identified a developmental function of a previously under-studied molecular regulator of signalling in vasculature. This project will investigate this factor, building on our recent discoveries with the goal to generate new knowledge that leads to approaches to manipulate vascular signalling in disease in the future.
